Office quantum in key business centres

As a gateway to the Jurong and Tuas industrial areas, including Jurong Innovation District and Tuas Port, JLD is well-positioned for companies to set up their offices to provide business and professional services to high-value industries in the West region in sectors like advanced manufacturing, biomedical and maritime.
JLD is also home to the offices of government agencies such as JTC, BCA and SFA, with other agencies studying plans to move their offices to the district. Companies in the infrastructure and built-environment sectors that have frequent interactions with these agencies may find it attractive to set up their offices in the district for operational efficiency.
As JLD is envisioned as a model sustainable district, companies that develop sustainability solutions and capabilities, and those aligned with sustainability values, can also establish operations in this new growth district to tap on the ecosystem.
Precinct plan
The current commercial core comprises mainly offices, retail and institution uses. In the next few years, we can look forward to three new Jurong Region Line and Cross Island Line stations in the district, more offices and retail spaces, sport, recreation and community uses, a new Jurong Region Line station and a new bus interchange within the Jurong Gateway to further enhance bus connectivity.
Upcoming developments in Jurong Lake District.
The commercial core will extend seamlessly into a new 120-hectare precinct, which will have a balanced mix of offices, housing, and amenities in a car-lite and park setting. This precinct will be developed over the next 30 years and served by two new MRT stations. We will have the opportunity to introduce new development concepts and redesign ways to integrate live, work and play.
International Business Park is Singapore’s pioneer business park supporting R&D and knowledge-based activities since the 1990s. To leverage on the upcoming opening of Jurong Town Hall station on the Jurong Region Line from mid-2028, the business park is progressively being rejuvenated with more mixed uses to support the needs of new economic sectors and the thriving R&D community.
Jurong Lake Gardens is Singapore’s third national garden and a collection of three unique gardens. A new Science Centre and tourist development will add to the attractions at Lakeside Garden, Chinese Garden and Japanese Garden. This will make Jurong Lake District a place for leisure and recreation and a destination for events and entertainment.
